Sisters and Brothers (7+)

«Siblings are siblings. Once together, always together. Unless you’ve just had a falling out and never, ever, ever speak to each other again.»

You can’t choose siblings, and you can‘t avoid them as you can avoid other people. It’s an involuntary, coercive relationship. But under coercion, enmity often thrives better than love. But we all are, after all, somehow brothers and sisters. All people should be «a united people of sisters and brothers». Or should they not? This play is food for thought for young and old – even for only children, because they dream of a perfect sibling or look for a blood brother.

For «Sisters and Brothers», Theater Sgaramusch and Weltalm Theater have joined forces for the first time. Theater Sgaramusch from Schaffhausen has been producing professional theater for children and adults since 1982. Weltalm Theater has been working in Bern since 2005 and continuously creates innovative theater for children.
