The Big Questioning (7+)

«What is the color of nothingness? Why are there creatures that have no fur but must wear clothes? Why am I me and not someone else? Questions upon questions, each bigger than the other.»

It takes a while for Domi, Fiona, Mikki and Theresa to realize that the wondrous place they have landed in is actually a brain. Children’s questions constantly pop up in it, and they have to answer them: Why is there something and not just nothing? What do you do with questions to which there are no answers or an infinite number of answers?

«The Big Questioning» is an exciting poetic and philosophical play, a multimedia performance with analog devices. A chain becomes a snake, a piece of spaghetti, a squid-like creature. Foils and fabrics blow in the wind, and gummy bears lounge on projectors. And there is even a flight into infinity.

Goldtiger creates plays that challenge young and old audiences alike to explore new ways of perception. The forms of expression range from puppetry, projections and performance to poetry and pop music. «The Big Questioning» won second place at the PREMIO competition, a young talent award for theater and dance.
